Interior Design in Toronto: The Thompson Hotel

Since Summer of 2010 the Thompson Hotel has been a big hit in TO for its bar scene, fine dining at Scarpetta and the 24 hour tasty diner, The Counter. Although the food is great, and unobstructed city scape view from the roof top lounge is quite the site, it is the design of this hotel/private residence in my opinion that makes this spot one of Toronto's most recognized boutique hotels and the hub of the trendy king west night life.

I love the 152 square foot black and white hand painted mural by Javier Mariscal ( a Barcelona based artist) that showcases the skyline of Toronto. This is an amazing piece of art that acts as a back drop for the entire length of the lobby/bar.
